DARKE COUNTY FRIENDS OF THE ANIMAL SHELTER – 2 WINNERS FOR SCENTRAL PARK

The Darke County Friends of The Shelter recently held a naming contest for the new dog park currently under construction. Over 165 names were submitted. After much discussion Scentral Park was selected. Two local citizens submitted the name Scentral Park. They were Kathy Galentine and Chad Henry. Each winner was presented a gift basket as their prize. Pictured are shelter member Bob Harshbarger with Chad Henry and Kathy Galentine with shelter member Jeanie Harshbarger. Gift baskets were donated by Boston Stoker Coffee. Scentral Park will be located on County Home Rd., south of Darke County Animal Shelter just beyond the Sheriff’s office in Greenville.
Darke County Friends of The Shelter is a non-profit organization. We are asking families, businesses, organizations and individuals for donations to complete the projects since NO TAX MONEY is being used. Donations over $100 will be recognized on a donor board.
