CHAMBER TO HOST 50TH ANNUAL GOLF OUTING, AUG. 6

The 50th annual Chamber Golf Outing is scheduled for Aug. 6 at Turtle Creek Golf Course (formerly the Greenville Golf Course).
The outing is a scramble, and the chamber expects a full field of golfers, so interested golfers should register early.
Outing event sponsor Wayne HealthCare will give an embroidered golf towel to each golfer commemorating the 50th year. The chamber golf luncheon is sponsored by Mercer Savings Bank in honor of retired Greenville employee Michael “Mike” Snyder.
“Mike has been the chairman of the chamber golf outing for more than 10 years, and it is our privilege to honor him,” Mercer Savings CEO Bill Martin said.
The Gold Event Sponsor is Phelan Insurance Agency, Inc. The Silver Sponsors are Robert’s Agency-Nationwide and Second National Bank.
The first, second and third-place teams will receive cash awards. A top prize drawing for golfers is a one-year membership from Turtle Creek Golf Course. Golfers and dinner guests will draw prizes provided by Walmart, a signed football by Matt Light and a chamber basket of cheer valued at $200.
Registration forms for the 50th annual Chamber Golf Outing are available from golf committee members, at the chamber office or from any sponsor.
