CENTRAL WESTERN FIRE ASSOCIATION CONFERENCE, JUNE 22-23
June 14th, 2012 | by advocate360 |Verona Fire Department, which provides fire protection in Darke, Preble, and Montgomery counties, will be hosting the Central Western Fire Association Conference 6/22 and 6/23. There will be friendly firefighter competitions and challenges, including Waterball, Gear Donning, Hose Evolution, Bucket Brigade, Hose Line Competition, Cart Competition, and the Strong Arm Competition. Kid Competitions will also be held. Carnival rides will also fill the Verona Park area, as well as various vendors. There will be a Queen Contest Friday night, along with a Parade on Saturday morning. The Conference will end Friday night with a Cornhole Tournament hosted by the Verona Fire Department.
