LOCAL GIRL WINS MLB COMPETITION IN CINCINNATI

Brooklynn is 8 years old and from Darke County. She recently competed in the Major League Baseball’s Pitch, Hit, & Run competition. She won at the local level in Greenville, advancing to the sectional competition in West Chester, Ohio.
She finished 1st place in sectionals and qualified for the Team Championship competition at the Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati.
This past saturday, she took 1st place again, naming her the Cincinnati Reds Team Champion in the girls 7-8 yr old division beating out girls from Kentucky and Indiana.
Her scores will be compared to 29 others in hopes of competing for the National Championship in Kansas.
