A SUCCESS STORY AND THANK YOU

February 24th, 2012 | by shelterfriends |

Hello Everyone, remember me?

It’s Pumpkin, formerly of the Darke County Animal Shelter. I was looking for a new home last Thanksgiving, and guess what, I found the perfect one. I can’t believe my good fortune. Have all the love any pet could ever need. And not only that, I have a new best friend, Purrcy to play with, too. Thanks to everyone who inquired about me and to the people at the Darke County Animal Shelter who took such good care of me till I found my new forever home. Your new best friend is waiting for you at the Darke County Animal Shelter, 5066 County Home Rd., Greenville

My husband and I adopted a 7 yr old boxer from the shelter back in May and she is the sweetest thing EVER! Spoiled rotten but I figure she deserves it. I always try to stress to people the importance of adopting from shelters and Sadie is a true success story! Thanks for sharing the story and I’m so thankful for the people who adopted and are loving Pumpkin!

Thanks for the feedback and also for encouraging other people to adopt from shelters!
