LITTLE MISS ANNIE OAKLEY AND BUFFALO BILL AWARDED

The gazebo was all abuzz on Friday evening during Annie Oakley days. The Little Miss and Mr. contest was held at 7pm.  This years contest was open to any Darke County child between 3 and 5 years of age as of July 1. Contestants were judged on:
Attire: 1) Originality of Design 25%
2) Appropriate to Annie Oakley & Buffalo Bill/ Theme 25%
3) Personality, Poise and Ability to Speak 50%.
Attire for girls should represent Annie Oakley in period time and attire for boys should represent Buffalo Bill in period times.

Chosen Little Miss Annie Oakley was Alivia Addis, 4 year old daughter of Larry and Amy Addis of Greenville, OH.  Alivia loves to go camping, garden, play baseball and dance.  She has several Annie dolls, clothes and movies. Her proudest moment was winning first place with her chicken “queenie.”

Chosen as this years Little Buffalo Bill was Evan Joe Addis, the 3 year old son of Larry and Amy Addis of Greenville, OH. Evan loves to play baseball, go camping, ride his bike and play with his big brother and sister. His proudest moment was getting an award at church Awana’s, “Cubbies.”

Rachael Wright, 4 year old daughter of Clint and Charlene Wright of Greenville, OH was chosen as this years most photogenic. Rachael enjoys soccer and swimming. She is happiest playing with her kitten and her Belle doll.

This years Little Miss and Mr. contest was sponsored by Diane Evans Insurance, 200 Wagner Ave., Greenville, OH.  The contest judges were Loretta Jones our Annie Oakley impersonator and historian and our Buffalo Bill impersonator, Richard Best.
